Hi, I’m Lucy and I’m a photographer from York.

I’ve been capturing people and their events, whether the everyday joy or that really special moment, for the last three years or so. My aim is to tell their stories and document their life.

As well as weddings and other events, my core work is with families, children and maternity sessions. I have worked with several pre-school groups so I know what it takes to make little ones feel at ease and relaxed with the camera. I’m a Mum of two young boys and my photography style is testament to the relaxed nature I have had to develop chasing them around with a camera! 

Always a people watcher, outside of my professional work I love to explore the world with my camera and enjoy growing my street photography portfolio on my travels. Being a northern girl I love to capture the beauty and spirit of our northern cities and towns, especially the coastal communities.

My style is relaxed and natural, capturing people just as they are and hopefully telling their stories.
