The Normans Wedding Venue

The Normans takes its name from the beautiful 18th-century working farm on which it is set - a farm that has been in the Robinson family for three generations. And, for three generations, it has been the backdrop to a number of fantastic family weddings. 

For this reason, we decided to open our doors to loved-up brides- and grooms-to-be of Yorkshire ... and beyond!

But The Normans isn't just 'another barn venue'.

We have re-vamped and re-imagined the original farm buildings and fold yard, to create a stylish and stunning space - combining rustic charm with slick contemporary features - that is purpose-built for weddings.

The Normans comprises of five distinct areas: The Courtyard, The Ceremony Barn, The Cow Stalls, The Tack Room Bar and The Grain Shed. Each area unique in its own right but, at the same time, interlinked, ensuring that your event flows seamlessly.
